Metal is one of the most durable and versatile materials on Earth. With infinite colors and woodgrains, and the ability to shape the material into various geometric forms, metal offers nearly unlimited design potential. Coupled with its ability to withstand rigorous conditions, metal emerges as an ideal choice for ceiling applications. Throughout this course, you will explore where metal comes from and discover how it can provide the flexibility and customizability needed to accentuate designs.
Learning Objectives:
- Discover where metal comes from and learn how aluminium, and steel are made.
- Understand the available finishes for metal ceilings and how they are applied.
- Understand how metal can deliver acoustical properties.
- Identify the various design forms of metal ceilings.
- Identify the performance characteristics and application areas of metal ceilings.
Facilitator Qualifications:
- All Rockfon CES facilitators have been trained on CES guidelines and presentation skills.
Method of Delivery:
- The CES facilitator utilizes a PowerPoint presentation to provide an in-depth overview of stone wool acoustic ceilings for health & well-being.
Audio/Visual Required:
- Laptop and projector or TV with HDMI connection. (The CES facilitator supplies the laptop and projector unless other arrangements have been made before the day of the presentation.) Virtual presentations offered as well.
