We are pleased to announce a new partnership with AIA’s MasterSpec and Deltek Specpoint, delivering easier, seamless ways of specifying Rockfon products.
About AIA MasterSpec and Deltek Specpoint
AIA’s MasterSpec has long been the gold standard for Architects, Engineers and Designers when it comes to quickly generating quick, accurate project specifications. Members of the AEC (Architects, Engineers & Contractors) industry have access to MasterSpec’s comprehensive materials library, featuring over 50,000 product listings across all Divisions. In early 2022, AIA announced the integration of MasterSpec with Deltek’s Specpoint – a collaborative software where key stakeholders can communicate instantly on all aspects of their projects to avoid issues and costly mistakes down the line. The integration of these two platforms provides an invaluable resource to the AEC industry for identifying products, generating complete specifications on-demand, and collaboration from project conception to delivery.
Rockfon Offering on MasterSpec
Rockfon’s complete ceiling offering will now be available in the MasterSpec library. Architects will have complete access to search and specify any of the following high quality ceiling products:
- Stone Wool Acoustical Ceiling Tiles & Panels: Rockfon ceiling tiles achieve amongst the highest marks in the industry in acoustic comfort, fire resilience, and humidity resistance. Cleanability, combined with moisture resistance, makes stone wool tiles a durable and low-maintenance upgrade from traditional ceilings. Stone wool, made from naturally occurring basalt rock, does not provide sustenance for mold or bacteria and helps maintaining indoor air quality without the addition of antimicrobials. At Rockfon, we only use low VOC materials, supporting overall indoor air quality and complying with green building standards.
- Metal Ceiling Systems: Rockfon’s specialty metal ceilings merges beautiful, limitless design with the durability of metal. This complete offering features a variety of options, including decorative perimeter trim, lay-in and concealed panels, linear metal systems, baffles and open cell, and curved designs. Beyond the standard, Rockfon’s Specialty Services division can support a wealth of custom designs, including 3-dimensional panels, intricate shapes, and solutions for complex field conditions. Along with these designs comes a wide color palette that includes standard colors, wood grains and metallic finishes.
- Grid Suspension Systems: Rockfon Chicago Metallic has been manufacturing suspension grid and metal components since 1954, becoming amongst the most reliable producers in the US. Chicago Metallic grid features a wide range of performance capabilities, including fire resistance, seismic acceptance and high humidity areas. These grids are compatible with both Rockfon’s stone wool ceiling tiles and metal ceiling systems
